a. Over feeding

a. Reduce feed screw RPM, Opening air
inlet nozzles of mill reduce feed rate
by decreasing suction at feed point
b. Open & clean mill chember &
reduce the feed screw RPM
During
operation material is blowing out of
hopper, what will be root cause &
solutions?
Material is blowing out of hopper
happens due to following
a. Screen plugged
b. Air inlet opens too wide
c. Air relief bag clogged
then please do following
a. Clean screen
b. Wash or shake air relief bag
c. Close partly or fully as per material
nature.
What
are root cause for failure of Pulveriser
main motor drive to start?
Pulveriser main motor drive to start
gets failed due to following
a. Connected wrong power supply
b. Poor contact in starter
c. Overload mechanism tripped
then please do following
a.Must corrected immediately or damage
will occur to motors & Switches
b. Refit prong of cable to starter
correctly making certain good contact of
each prong
c. Reset overload Trip -OFF position

a. Voltage too low

mill) ?
Feed screw of Pulveriser slowing down
during operation is due to following
a. Large piece in feed material
b. material sticky/packy
then please do following
a. Remove or precrush into smaller size
b. allow to dry more before grinding if
it is due to moisture

are root cause for failure of Pulveriser
feed motor drive to start ( not suitable
for W/SCB mill) ?
Pulveriser feed motor drive to start
gets failed due to following
a. Material too large
b. Foreign particle in feed screw path
c. Overload mechanism tripped
then please do following
a. Precrush material into smaller size
b. Remove foreign particle
c. Reset overlaod relay
What
is difference between Pulveriser model
standard & W / SCB type?
Pulveriser model 1SG/2DH/3TH/4TH are
having feed screws mechanism to feed the
material in mill chember whereas in ‘W
/SCB’ type there will be any feed screw
mechanism for feeding material
to mill chember. In ‘W’ type mill feed
material is controlled fed to mill
chember by gravity flow whereas in ‘SCB’
type mill, feed material is controlled
fed to mill chember by forced draft.
